was chatting with my cousin last night at 12 midnight Singapore, 6pm Germany. yeah, she's in Germany Munich now, amidst the World Cup fever. haha she was telling me about how she witnessed a riot after Germany lost to Italy, and the whole carriage on the trains refused to let two Italians in and chanted in unison (loosely translated): "you all are only pizza deliverers!" so mean right! lol and even taxi drivers now refuse to let them in their cabs apparently? wow, but it's so cool..the entire country united by just one game. then she was telling me about how everyone is now boycotting Italian food there...hahaha. and she is like how lucky! go there on EDB scholarship, and you get to travel like only to a million and one places (cos travelling around there is cheap from state to state and country to country). i just love viewing her pictures, especially pictures of scenery. they look so perfect, so peaceful. i mean, i dont think its the same as the pictures off Getty Images, cos it's like, you know someone who has actually been there before...totally different perspective. bah, Singapore is so boring. i mean, all you do is...erm, go shopping (or window shopping rather), catch a movie, take neoprints...there are no pretty pictures (no, being self narcisstic is not counted) and no pretty sights (eye candies are not included) to see! (jialin if you dont mind!) you should take a look, they are beautiful! makes me want to go live in Europe too!
