ok prelims are over. dont quite expect good results because i screwed my papers up esp econs p2 which i am utterly disappointed in, and because of that it affected my mood for maths p2 (not that i have any confidence in it to begin with) and chem p1. i was quite bochup abt the last two papers. oh well, prelims not counted right.

overdue pictures (went to Sentosa's new musical fountain with my family) apparently they spent SGD$3m on it, with fire lazer technology more water fountains and music and what not. but i still prefer the old one. the new one's quite childish, you'ld feel as if you're watching Dora the explorer. (still we shall go (again for me) on your birthday as you wish noelle!)

oh yeah went shopping with vk kris cheryl the past two days. spent $125 on myself altogether, plus $15 on my sister and $20 on my brother. i cant wait until i start earning my own money. ok anw celebrated cheryl's early bday with a dinner cooked by vk's mum, vk and wini at vk's hse. photos kris will send soon, haha :D

ok other than going to immigrations checkpoint authority today to collect my passport (and waited for 45 min), met my cousin Jialin for lunch at Biopolis! She's like some EDB scholar interning there as part of her scholarship programme, so i thought why not take the opportunity to look see the Biopolis since she offered. haha if not i'll have no other chance to!

view from one of the buildings, pity i dont take bio so i wouldnt know what all the names of the buildings mean. haha i got a tour of the place, pretty cool, its like a little self-sufficient city, with restaurants, a fitness center, banking services and all. and i was told practically all the foreigners around hold either a phD or is some professor. you'd be quite amazed by all the ppl, its like a city where all the intelligent minds come together, though there's competition but more good will come out of the concentration of skilled talent (haha working on my econs here: external EOS) oh there was this cool room that is completely run by solar energy how cool is that! haha couldnt take pictures of it though cos its supposed to be some secret area the execs use and there was this man inside and we feared he may be some bigshot so i couldnt take as many pictures as i wanted to. haha the view wasnt exactly the best but you could see quite a huge part of the West of Singapore (not underdeveloped ok, if you havent read last Sunday Times which featured all the cool places in the West with bars and shops and restaurants. haha, Dempsey, Rochester Park, Holland V, Lock Road, Greenwood Ave, Sunset Way...havent been to all but i want to, though the hole in my pocket will be much larger than it alr is)

ok i started taking pictures on my way out and in cos the place v cool then aft that i decided to stop cos i didnt want to look like a swaku tourist (haha not like i wasnt acting as one in Chinatown with cheryl and kris but i like acting tourist cos its fun!)

ok everybody around me seems to be starting work alr when prelims are just over only. hmm, so far ive done......half of a gp essay. oh and i watched the BBC version of p&p alr, but i got cheated! the woman at VideoEzy said it was a DVD so naturally you would expect everything to be in 1 disc and little did i know it came in two volumes, and the woman gave a case with only the 2nd volume! wah lao, the case doesnt aven have space for two cds, as in, its just one, so i think the people there were mistaken or smth :( but im damn lazy to go back to watch the first part, cos the 2nd volume is when all the impt things happened, oh and i sort of fell asleep halfway :/ so i had to rewind again and again, haha.

oh and let see, i spent my weekend renting 5 other shows too! Like Mike 2 (some kid show, cos i watched like mike 1 so much watch the sequel), In Her Shoes (which was disappointing cos wasnt v nice for a chickflick), I Am Sam (i cried 5 times, almost the whole movie, SO SAD), A Lot Like Love (so sweet, one of my fav shows now), and The Pursuit of Happyness (rags to riches real life story, i cried again)

i shall attempt to start studying. go away Facebook
