ok so daily ritual (at least for this week) it has been: get up at 8am. turn on channel 18 for pirate master (they're so scheming they're like real pirates its scary) then hallmark for oprah winfrey at 9am (starworld is showing ellen degeneres at the same time so i channel switch in between commercials) and channel 5 is showing ellen at 9.30am too so i channel switch yet again. haha ok oprah rocks ellen's socks seriously. ellen's funny but she wastes tv time dancing on the set and then the whole audience starts dancing and it starts looking lame. yesterday's ep of oprah was so touching i cried twice! it was about finding your calling and sticking to it. then there was this woman had the idea of a pyjamas programme, collecting as many pjs as possible then giving to shelters then oprah surprised her by secretly getting the audience to collect like damn alot to give her. then when she did and the whole stage was filled with pjs and the woman started crying cos she was so touched, then i started crying too! gosh. then there was this other guy who had quit his job as bill gates' assistant at microsoft to deliver books and set up libraries in nepal, and another woman who collects food coupons to deliver them to poor families. then there was this middle aged woman who read this article about child slavery in ghana and it shocked her until she decided to do smth about it and took the initiative to stick to her cause so she freed 7 african kids from child slavery by adopting them. then entire audience on the oprah show gave her a standing ovation cos oprah started it saying how she proved that someone so ordinary can do smth so big. then when the woman cried i cried too. SO TOUCHING ok i see i rambled enough.

sadly because of this hence had to keep going in and out of the room and so did not get to take as many pictures as i want to and missed out on alot of ppl whom i had intended to take with. i realise the same thing happened at crescent prom, only it was not prom queen nomination, it was smth else which i cant rmbr what. ok nvm

it was the last day of s'pore design fest so we decided to be arty farty after breakfast at maxwell market.

this was really cool cos the model had every single building in s'pore and you could actually identify your house
the red dot museum, looks like some building in london or smth right.
pity it was closed that day due to a private function, could only see a few exhibits. got to go back sometime, looks really cool.
took a really long walk til we ended up here, which is one of the places on the s'pore design fest trail. was a police station, which has been converted to an art gallery. i always loved the colourful windows.

paid $3 for smth exhibition called Utterubbish! it was, uhm. very d&t cos they use recycled materials to make new objects and there are full of original designs for furniture and what not. pretty cool, the ppl all so talented.

shopping with the cell. this is ian cheong in newfuture orange skinnies in the changing room (shop that sells female jeans) we dared him to wear to church like 5 times if maurice and aaron bought for him and he agreed. but he chickened out in the end. moral? quote by aaron "dont jump into a pool when you cannot swim" haha well said.
ok so we're (nat sarah i) are i/c of hospitality for the christmas evangelical party which will be happening after carolling on the 22nd (pity i cant make it cos party starts at 7 and i got to be at airport at 9.30pm) so anyway we went to vivocity daiso and toys r us and then off to town to shop for the event. pretty fun but was damn tiring cos had to lug damn heavy bags. eh i wont be there for event so if got extra presents, save me the playdoh! :) hahaha ok nat send me our silly pictures taken at daiso with $2 hats and shades which were totally too small
met rachel chiang like FINALLY. i couldnt recognise her in her makeup and working clothes pls. oh we met jamie yeo and susilo just had to embarrass us cos we initially saw she was walking to the toilet. so we followed her (rachel's idea) only to find out it isnt a toilet but a lift lobby to the CARPARK. lol then jamie yeo saw us and smiled (im so sure she knew we were kids stalking her and was amused) lol why else would we want to take the lift to the carpark when we dont have cars. haha anyway hung out at out of the pan at raffles city then walked to esplanade and susilo had to embarrass me again by writing some embarrassing stuff in my name on this christmas wishlist thing. haha but i still love you chiang! <3
ok we couldnt take a proper photo cos didnt like flash and had to take without. bet you all will say its just my face right. haha alright
oh went to two job recruitment agencies the day before. took an excel test, word, and typing test at one. im so sad i failed the excel test got 13/30 (the woman say avg score for ppl my age and some even older who applied there is like 3/30 so im not bad alr) but STILL. ok its this system where you get two tries per question then you have to demonstrate how to do what they tell you to do. like what, autoformatting, autofiltering. blahblah and i had no idea how to work excel before hand, can only make normal spreadsheets. so, i just whacked. i could have passed! its just cos got two questions i knew the answer, but i just click the bar file to get rid of where my cursor was initially then the whole question was skipped. how stupid is the system! anyway. got 23/30 for my microsoft word test. which is, ok i guess. oh i quite proud of my typing test! my gross typing speed is 80 words per minute! but made 6 errors in the passage and error rate is 1% so net typing rate is 74 wpm which is still not too bad right! haha ok at least i learnt new stuff that day.
ok gtg there's oprah on tv at 1! then i got to dress up for some job interview which i dont know if i really want the job now but will just try for the experience of it anyway i guess. ok BYE! i see this is a really long post, oh well, to make up for my lack of it.
