ok so it was raining cats and dogs this morning at clementi. the first thing that got me annoyed was how i couldnt find a single small umbrella in the house (note to self: buy a new one) and my maid ended up walking me to the train station with the only one big umbrella in the house which was partially spoilt (note to self: tell mum/dad to leave the good big umbrellas at home instead of the cars)

the second annoying thing was that the cars on the road so failed their btt, they didnt slow down when passing by a puddle of water but sped up AND SPLASHED ME. and so they made my already wet converse shoes and jeans even wetter. and until now, at 11.30am, i feel like im walking in a puddle of water. and i will probably feel this way til tonight and then my feet will be as wrinkled as a prune when i get home.
oh and the worse part of the rain in the morning is definitely reaching Tanjong Pagar and the sun came out and the rain stopped. OH MAN, if only i was half an hour later for work!

the third thing that is DEFINITELY the girl who stood beside me on the Mrt train this morning. You'ld normally complain about people who openly blast their music from their handphones, but i think unconsciously blasting it from their earpieces/headsets are even worse. it was damn loud and its not as if the music is classical music or smth soothing, but it was damn noisy. so it irritated me the entire journey from Clementi to Tanjong Pagar, i had half the mind to ask her to tone down but decided not to create trouble because after all, it was through her earpiece. and i made an observation that everyday, there would be at least 2 ppl in 1 Mrt carriage who blast music through their earpieces for the entire train to hear.

ok i shall stop complaining. i'm reminded of the purple band that was an intiative by this church pastor who appeared on the Oprah show. lol they should totally bring these to Singapore.
